API Overview
This highly scalable, standards-based, RESTful application programming interface (API) exposes the functionality of the Consensus jSign® platform to key trusted partners who will use it to integrate signing and document management capabilities into their own applications.
Designed for easy integration, our API provides calls for document uploads, creation, signing, management, and metadata retrieval. This document describe the API endpoints with methods and request parameters, along with other details as applicable.
Terminology
For the API, the number of signed documents ("envelopes") you can send per month depends on the plan tier you are using. Each envelope corresponds to one signed document with accompanying (unsigned) support documents. Refer to System Characteristics for file size limits.
